ACUTE STAGE REACHED
The opinion that the supply of cdeotrkily for primary production had reached (he acute stage was expressed by Mr J. B. McKinney at the annual meeting of the Tauranga Electiic Power Board cm Wednesday when referring to the chairman’s annual report.
Mr McKinney felt that it'was a very serious thing. The speaker quoted from a clipping in which the chairman of the Franklin Electric Power Board was quoted as saying that Auckland, Wellington and Unit Valley absorbed HO per cent, of the power produced in New Zealand, (he remaining hoards absorbing the rest. That just illustrated how things were creeping up, stated Mr McKinney.
