COAL SHORTAGE IN SYDNEY
Sydney, April SO. Only two days’ supply of coal is held by the Sydney Council and the reimposition of electricity rationing is feared. The Minister of Works and Local Govrenment, Mr Cahill, said that though coal stocks were acutely short he was reluctant to impose any form of electricity rationing. Lack of rail transport is aggravating the position.
