RAINFALL DURING APRIL
TOTAL OF 7.39 INCHES RECORDED SUNSHINE DURING MONTH TOTALS 148 HOURS A total of 7.3 9 inches of vain was recorded in the Tauranga district during April. Rain fell on 19 days during the month, the highest daily fall recorded being 4.58 inches on Easter Monday, April 22. Sunshine recorded during the month totalled 148 hours, while one frost was experienced on April IS. The mean temperature during last month war, 59.5 degrees. The highest maximum temperature was 74.5 degrees' recorded on April ,20, while the lowest minimum temperature was 3 9.2 degrees on April IS. The lowest grass minimum was 3.05 degrees Fahrenheit on April .18. The highest pressure value during April was 1030.1 millibars on April--30 and the lawest value was 1001.3 millibars on April 11.
