HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS The following is the schedule of hours to be observed by the Tauranga Post Office during the Christmas and New Year period: Christmas Day, December 25: The post office will be closed, the telegraph office will be closed, the telephone exchange will be open continuously. Boxing Day, December 27: The post office will be closed. All street receivers will be cleared at 7 a.m., and the principal outward mails will be closed at 8 a.pi- Inward mails will not be sorted. The telegraph office will be closed. The telephone exchange will be open continuously. New Year’s Day, January 1: The post office will be closed. The Telegraph office will be closed. The telephone exchange will be open continuously. Monday, January 3: The post office will be closed. The telegraph office will be closed. All street receivers will be cleared at 7 a.m., and the principal outward mails will be closed at 8 a.m. Inward mails will not be sorted. The telephone exchange will be open continuously. No postmen’s deliveries will be made on December 25 and 27 and January 1 and 3.
