U-BOAT RAMMED
DESTROYER HESPERUS’ FEAT
London, Feb. 3
The destroyer Hesperus has sunk another U-boat in the Atlantic by rarmming her, says an Admiralty announcement. The U-boat was first rammed by another destroyer, but not sunk. It then tried to get away on the surface, but the Hesperus sped after it and sent it to the bottom. This is the second U-boat the Hesperus has sunk by ramming. The convoy the Hesperus was helping to escort arrived in England without losing any ships or suffering any damage.
