BRITISH NATION’S DUTY STATEMENT BY ARCHBISHOPS IN BRITAIN London, Jan. 24. The ’ Archbishops of Canterbury and York and the Bishop of Wells have issued a statement to the effect that it is the duty of the entire British nation to exert itself to the utmost to provide sanctuary for Jewish refugees.
