E.P.S. PROSECUTION
ABSENCE FROM A PARADE WELLINGTON, Oct. 15. A fine of £lO and costs was imposed in the Magistrate's Court today by Mr. J. L. Stout. S.M., on D'Arcy Geary for failure to attend a compulsory parade of an E.P.S. wardens' group.
Defendent said he had no excuse to offer.
The magistrate said he did not know what to do with such people. If they did not attend parades he would have to send them to prison, Defendent had a duty to undertake whether he liked it or not.
