WAIHI MINERS' BALLOT.

A ballot was taken on Saturday, under the auspices of the Waihi Miners' Union, relative to the question of linking up with other organisations. The following is the result:— I favour of amalgamating all quartz miners in JNfew Zealand ; For, 366 ; against, 100; nrajority for, 266 In favour of joining the Federation of Labour: For, 344; against, 130; majority for, 214
The effect of the miners' ballot is that the Waihi Union affiliates with both the quartz.miners and the Federation of Labour.
