British Premier Refuses to Make a Statement. Rec. Sept. 29, 9 50 p m.
London, Sept. 20. In the House of Commons, replying to Mr Joynson Hicks, Unionist Member for Brentford, Mr Asquith, Frontier, refused to make a statement regarding the positioned prospects at the Dardanelles, All had been stated which the Government considered was consistent with the military exigencies.
