OPOTIKI.
Monday. The schooner Ruby, J^eill, master, has been wrecked at Te Awanui. She has broken in two, and all the cargo lost. The crew are all safe. John Ryan has been coumritted f or trial for maliciously wounding George Loram of the Opotiki- Hotel. The 1 accused rushed at Loram with a sheathknife, a slight wound in the body, evidently aimed at \ heart. Loram also received another wound, three inches long, on the left , knee.. The prisoner left, by the s.s. Chelmsford to-day.
