WOOL SALES,
Melbourne, February 15. The local demand is active ; greasy continuing to demaDd good prices. There have been large withdrawals receutly from the local market iv consequence of the London pric< s. Messrs Dalgety and Cj. have received tbe following telegram from their head office, dated London, 14th. February : — " The wool sales continue dull, and latelyreported rates hardly maintained. The lower clsses of merinos show a decline of Ji to lon greasy, and J.I to Id on scoured."
