WEEKLY MARKET REPORT.
Messrs Moritzon and Hopkin, grain, produce, and general commission agents, Manse-Street, Dnnedin, report : — Wheat. — Prices unchanged from last week, millers looking forward for samples of new crop. Fowl's Wheat is in good demand ; 3s per bushel is obtainable for a good sample. Oats. — In short supply, Is 8d for bright short feed. Barley. — Colonial in short supply, prime 4s to 4s 3d.
Flour.— Northern (roller). £9 10s ; 50V, £10 ; 25's £10 sa. Oatmeal.— £B lo*, in 25's packed in saoks ; in bulk, £8 per ton. Bran.— 4ss. Sharps, 6sa. These prices hold good locally ; also, f . o. b. Timaru. Potatoes. — Kidneys are almost gone. Prime fresh Derwents we sell from 60s to 65s per ton, Pigs.— Dairy fed and well-killed, 31 to 3£d, up to 160 lbs. Chaff —Good, clean, and wel!-3ut, 50a to 555. Butter. — Salt, as yet little demand. Fresh, from storekeepers iv cases, 4 1 to 5d per lb. Straw. — Hydraulic pressed, in trasses, 40s per ton. Eggs. — We are selling at Is 6d per dozen. Grass Seed.— Rye, 2s 3 i to 3a 6d ; Cocksfoot, 3Jd to 4d for really prime machine pressed. Honey. — 4d per lb.
