Thursday, 2:2 nd March. Mr Carew attended at the Clarendon Tollbar, yesterday forenoon, at the hour appoiuted, but no objections had been lodged, nor were ' any objectors present. The Valuator stated that Mr Watt, 11 M , Assessor for the County of Taieri, had already signed part of the roll, as the property was within that Count}'. Mr Carew, m consequence, adjourned the proceedings to another day, which would be duly advertised. Iv the meantime he would communicate with Mr Watt ou the subject.
