MR HOGG, M.P.

WILL NOT DESERT MASTERTON

Tpress association.] MASTERTON, This Day. Interviewed this morning, Mr A. W. Hogg, M.P., stated there was no foundation in tlie nimor that he intended to contest a seat in the Auckland district in the interests of the Labor party. He could not think of leaving a constituency like' Masterton, which he looked upon, as his political birth-plaoe, and where he had been returned by such a- great majority at every contested election. It would be most ungrateful to desert a constituency like that and he had 110 intention of doing so.
