Dey, and were used as a general store and posit office by their owner. The other was occupied: by J. White as a general fancy goods sliop. The fire started 1 in White's, at 4 a.m. T'lie buildings being wooden ones were soon consumed, the firemen being powerless to prevent tlie spread, as there was no waiter.
