[press association.] HAMILTON, This Day. . A fire at East Hamilton early on Sunday morning totally destroyed three shops, two of which belonged 1 to W. Dey, and were used as a general store and posit office by their owner. The other was occupied: by J. White as a general fancy goods sliop. The fire started 1 in White's, at 4 a.m. T'lie buildings being wooden ones were soon consumed, the firemen being powerless to prevent tlie spread, as there was no waiter. Dey's shop was insured for £IOO, stock for £2OO, and stable £SO; White's stock £250, shop £IOO.
DUNEDIN, This Day. Tlie Seacliff Hotel, now unlicensed, was burned down shortly after midnight on Saturday. It was insured for £SOO, and was "occupied by Berry.
