Whilst the steamer Waiwera was being loaded last evening, a bale of wool fell out of the sling and struck John Lamer, a lighterman, severely injuring his back. WELLINGTON, Tins Day. . Judge Edwards refused to grant an injunction sought by T. J. Nott, of Kumeroa, against James Drysdale and the Registrar of the Napier Supreme Court, to restrain the Registrar from proceeding with the sale of certain land subject to mortgage.
