Collins, Secretary to the Treasury; P., Heyes, Commissioner of Taxes, and W. R. Morris, Assistant Secretary to the Post Office to examine the system of keeping accounts of the various departments of the qublic service, with the object of determining whether it is possible to re-arrange and simplify the procedure incidental thereto, and reduce the cost of administration, and to fomulate;proposals;for and improvement which may be deemed necessary.
