William Anderson's Dramatic Company.
* Daniieyirke playgoers will have an opportunity on Thursday next of seeing for the first time here the successful drama, "The Worst Woman in London." The company is undoubtedly «* strong one, and the mounting aud dressing, it is said, is of an attractive character. Mr Anderson has the reputation of being the cleverest of the young managers who have come to tne front daring the last decade. His motto is "If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing well," and playgoers who witnessed the pieces staged during his last season here, are satisfied that he acts up to his motto. The truth is, dram», like everything else in this age of progress, cannot aJFord to stand still. To go one better on every occasion has been an inexorable law of the times, and he who refuses to govern his conduct by it must inevitably come to grief. If Mr Anderson spends freely on a production like "The Worst Woman in London," it is because the public has shown its readiness to recompense him for his outlay. He carries ft double staff of stage hands. One of thesa . will arrive here on Wednesday with all the effects belonging to " The Wont Woman in London " so that everything will be in perfect working order for the opening on Thursday.
