Bowling.
A match for the championship was played on Saturday between Paul and Hawkino, the latter winning by 26 to 8. One of the 'most interesting games played on the Palmerston green this season took place on Thursday, when J. R. Russell and P. W. Bunting met in the semi-final for the champion singles. Russell was in splendid form and won by 22 to 14. The final is to be played by the winner and Nairn.
