NIGHT FOE'S BREEDING
Night Foe, who made a good showing in the Imperial Plate at Hastings and was engaged at Otaki to-day, is a four-year-old mare by Defoe from Nightstep, by Nightmarch from Starmist, a member of the well-performed Stardancer family. She was bred by T. R. George, and Is raced by Mr. K- G. Mclntosh. Gisborne, for whom she is trained by W. D. Turnbull. Night Foe had only two races as a three-year-old, and was placed in one of them. Her race at Hastings was only the third of her career.
