Suzuki Has Meeting With Former Premiers
CHARGES OF INACTIVITY
Rec. Ip.m. NEW YORK, July 12. Tokyo radio announced that the Japanese Prime Minister, Admiral Suzuki, conferred with Emperor Hirohito and subsequently held a Cabinet meeting, which was attended by former Premiers, including General Tojo and Prince Kcnoye. Later Suzuki announced a wholesale shakeup of the 27 Cabinet positions. -He also summoned a conference of regional administrators. ■■ . . . ~" The radio quoted the journalist, Tokutomi, as having declared that the Cabinet should do better than merely hold routine meetmgs. He accused Suzuki of doing nothing while the empire was confronted with the most serious crises.
