Dr. Soong Has Fifth Meeting
With Stalin
ALLIED UNITY PROSPECTS
Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON/ July. 13. The Prime Minister of China, Dr. T V. Soong, last night for the fifth time conferred with Generalissimo Stalin, says the Associated Press Moscow correspondent. Dr. Soong also talked with the United States Ambassador,. Mr. Averill Harriman, to-day. • ■ „. The Sino-Russian discussions are reported to.be well advanced. . An article in the Moscow Izvestia newspaper declares that an effective instrument for lasting • peace could be instigated by preserving complete unity among the five great Powers, Britain/America, France and China. The correspondent adds that the inclusion of China is a good indication 6f the favourable progress of the talks. "
