Moscow Announces Programme To Benefit Trade Unionists
RUSSIAN-OCCUPIED AREA
Rec. 10.30 a.m. LONDON, June 28
Moscow radio says that trade unions in the Russian-occupied s zone of Germany have adopted a fourpoint programme as follows:— (1)* To fight against the Nazi ideology and against German militarism and to purge the administration and factories of Fascist elements. (2) To employ all manpower for the welfare of the population and for reconstruction.
(3) To organise the protection of labour and employment, the conclusion of wage agreements, collaboration in rebuilding the German economy and social insurance, and to safeguard the democratic rights of workers and employees for consultations on all questions affecting them. (4) To educate the German workers in a spirit of anti-Fascism, democratic progress, the acknowledgment of their social position and their joint interest with the workers of other countries and the consolidation of their friendship with other countries.
