LEAGUE FOOTBALL
NORTH V. SOUTH GAME
SELECTORS APPOINTED
Selectors for the North v. South match, which will be staged in Auckland towards the end of the season, were appointed at a meeting of the New Zealand Rugby League last evening, as follows:—
North: Messrs. E. Asher, T. A. McCly mont (Auckland), and C. Siddle (South Auckland). South: Messrs. J. Dodds (West Coast), W. Desmond (Canterbury) and R. Duncan (Wellington).
The president, Mr. J. A. Redwood, said that the Wellington and West Coast representative teams would play in Auckland, and the form should give an idea of the strength of football in the south.
The Auckland Maori League representatives will play South Auckland at Huntly at the week-end. The Auckland team is:
Silvt, Padley, Butler. Salaia. Murray, Major, Rangi, Ruru, Rogers. Shilton. Mitchell, Ririnui, Hilton, Te Tal, Thompson. Brtges.
