FALLS AT ELLERSLIE

Two jockeys were injured when their horses fell during the running of the Henderson Handicap at the Avondale Jockey Club's spring meeting at Ellerslie on Saturday. Both were admitted to the Auckland Hospital. They were Stanley John Green, aged 21, of 7,' Domain Drive, Hamilton, rider of Barrosa (fractured right leg), and Wallace Kenneth Caddy, aged MS, of Te Rapa, rider of Sir Simon (fractured spine and right shoulder blade). The condition of each to-day was satisfactory.
