SHEEP STEALING
LOSSES NEAR HELENSVILLE Further thefts of sheep in the Helensville district are reported. As a result of these losses local farmers are endeavouring to check the move- » ment of motor lorries on the roads at night. The latest sufferer at the hands of the sheep thieves is the Crosland Estate. So incensed is the owner of this property at his losses that he has offered a reward of £100 for information that will lead to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the thefts.
