MAYOR RETIRING
THE POSITION AT DUNEDIN
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, this day. Mr. A. H. Allen, who has been Mayor of Dunedin for two terms intimated to-day that he will not be a candidate for re-election. This leaves two candidates in the field, a member of the council, Mr Cameron, the Citizens' Committee's nominee, and Dr. D. G. McMillan, the Labour party nominee.
