MENTION IN DISPATCHES
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The King has approved the posthumous mention in dispatches "in recognition of gallant and distinguished service in the field" of four more New Zealand soldiers who died while prisoners of war. They were: Corporal Laurence Douglas Livingstone Houghton (Christchurch), Gunner John James Leach (whose wife is in Scotland), Private Arthur Burdwood Wright (Christchurch), and Gunner Robert George Dry (Taipuha).
