AUSTRALIAN SERVICEMEN Rec. 3 p.m. CANBERRA, this clay. Australian servicemen who are listed as battle casualties will be entitled to wear a gold wound stripe for each occasion on which they have been wounded in this war Announcing this, the Minister for the Army, Mr. F. M. Forde, said a red stripe might be worn to denote a wound or wounds received during previous wars. Only one such red stripe might be worn, irrespective of the number of occasions on which a serviceman was wounded.
