EXHIBITION EXTENDED
■ Owing to a rearrangement of the itinerary, it has been found possible to extend the season of the exhibition of war paintings by Captain Peter Mclntyre at the Auckland Art Gallery. The pictures will continue to be on view until early in the New Year. The attendance yesterday was a record. The visitors numbered 809, making a total of 6112 since the season opened early last week. The sum of £2S was received yesterday from donations and sales of catalogues, making a total of £170 to date.
