APPEAL IN CITY
ST. JOHN AMBULANCE Fine conditions in the city favoured collectors in to-day's annual street appeal for the St. John Ambulance. Collectors were provided by the ambulance movement and by representatives of 25 other organisations. As the scarcity of Dins has been a problem recently, tc-day's paper lapel badge was snaped Into a diamond at one end to enable it to be slipped easily through the buttonhole. Everything was going well, said Mr. S. E. Langstone, secretarymanager of the association, at noon. Totals would not be known till this evening.
