WAIKATO TRUSTEES
ANGLICAN SYNOD DECISION The Waikato Diocesan Trust Board was to-day appointed by the Anglican General Synod trustee of £11,138, the proceeds of the sale of lands, together with money from land at Hopuhopu and Punui, in confirmation of an agreement between the dioceses of Auckland and Waikato. The synod approved and confirmed the recommendations of a commission set up in 1925 regarding the allocation of the Native Schools Trust endowment funds and lands situated in the diocese of Waikato, ■as between the dioceses of Auckland and Waikato. A commission was set up to inquire into submissions of the Waikato diocese relating to the apportionment of endowments between the dioceses of Auckland and Waikato. This commission will report to the standing committee of the synod.
