Read —Kerr.—The engagement is announced between Katie Jean (W.A.A.F.), younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Innes Kerr, of Te Awamutu, and Thomas Richard Read (R.N.ZA.F.), youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Read, of Remuera. Allan—Haslett. —The engagement is announced between Marjorie Lily, only daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. W. H. Haslett, of Mount Eden, and SecondLieutenant Laurence George Allan, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. McG. Allan, of Palmerston North.
