GIRLS' LIFE BRIGADE
N.C.O.'S FIELD DAY
The annual sports organised by the nc.o.'s of the Auckland Division of the Girls' Life Brigade were held on Saturday afternoon at the Domain. The games included bob down relay, bean bag zigzag, and novelty races. The commissioner, Major D. Earle, presented the trophy to the winner, 6th Auckland (Waterview Methodist) with 23 points, second and third places were gained by 12th Auckland (Avondale Baptist) and 17th Auckland (New Lynn Presbyterian). Eighteen companies participated in the sports.
