ELECTION TO-MORROW

MILK COUNCIL MEMBERS

An election will take place tomorrow of two members of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council to represent Auckland local bodies other than the City Council. The candidates are Messrs. I. J. Goldstine (One Tree Hill), the present chairman, V. A. Coyle (Mt. Albert), a sitting member, and E. Buchanan (Newmarket), A. W. Joughlin (Devonport), and J. J. Mulvihill (Mt. Eden). The Auckland City Council will hold a special meeting to-morrow morning to appoint three members to the council, the present representatives being Miss E. Melville and Messrs. A. S. Bailey and H. P. Burton. Sitting members, Messrs. C. J. Lovegrove and R. H. Occleston, representing the dairymen, and R. B. Stonex and A. Thompson, representing the vendors, have been returned unopposed.
