Nominations for office in the Auckland Chamber of Commerce for 1943 closed yesterday. As the number of nominations was equal to the vacancies to be filled, the following were elected:—President, F. G. Baskett; vice-president, J. A. C. Allum; councillors, Messrs. T. H. Bowie, G. J. Browne, J. M. Hardcastle, E. J. Hewitt and W. L. Wyber.
