CHARGES OF MURDER
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday
With the consent of his counsel, John Sidney Crawford, aged 26, a seaman, was remanded again to March 31, when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court to-day on two charges of murder and two charges of attempted murder. The charges arose from the shooting affray at Terrace Gardens on January 7, when two American marines were shot dead and Hazel Josephine Salmon, aged 19, was wounded.
