POLICE PROMOTION
SERGEANT KELLY'S SERVICE Sergeant T. Kelly, in charge of the Pukekohe police district, has been advised of his promotion to the rank of senior sergeant as from February 1. Senior Sergeant Kelly joined the police service in Wellington 36 h years ago. He served for 15 years in the detective office in Auckland, and has also been stationed at Stratford and Hamilton. Senior Sergeant Kelly has four sons serving overseas, one, Sergeant Reg. Kelly, having been reported missing on air operations over Germany.
