FISHING AT TAUPO
(0.C.) TAUPO, Monday. Fishing in the Taupo district continues to be hard, with an occasional good day. Few limit catches have been reported in either the rivers or the lake. The Tongariro River is still providing very poor sport. The Waitahanui River has been heavily fished by a large number of anglers in the week with poor results. No improvement is expected until rain falls.
