WARTIME PROBLEMS

Dominions' Trade Unions To Confer In London

POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION

Rec. 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 14. Final arrangements are being made for the Dominions trade union conference, which is being called together on the initiative of the British Trade Union • Congress General Council. It is proposed to hold the conference in London, partly with the object of giving trade union delegations from Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa an opportunity of getting an overall picture of Britain's war effort. At the same time the conference will enable an exchange of information to take place about wartime legislation and about methods adopted in Britain and the Dominions in grappling with wartime difficulties. The conference is expected, moreover to give attention to problems of post-war reconstruction.
