Russian Commanders Break Enemy Resistance

"In the crowning triumph in the Russian counter-offensive in the Caucasus gained by the capture of Rostov, the Soviet troops on the Russian front were commanded by Colonel-General Malinovsky, who waged several days' fierce fighting for the town of Rostov," states a Soviet communique.
