MINISTER INJURED

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Friday. A collision between a lorry and a motor car in which the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Parry, was travelling to Wellington occurred this afternoon at an intersection about three miles south of Palmerston North. The car overturned and the Minister and other occupants had to escape through\one of the windows. The Minister was accompanied by his private secretary, Mr. E. N. G. Poulton, and his typist, Miss L. Evestan. All three suffered injuries in addition to shock. Mr. Parry's hand was injured, Mr. Poulton's ankle was hurt, and Miss Evestan received superficial injuries to the face. The driver was not injured. The party came on to Wellington later.
