SEASIDE PARK GIFT

(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The establishment of his farm property of 1613 acres at Charteris Bay in Lyttelton Harbour as a public park is provided for in the will of Mr. R. O. Bradley, who died recently. The gift takes effect after life interests to relatives have been satisfied. The property was acquired by Mr. Bradley's father in 1859. Mr. R. O. Bradley was well known for his interest in native trees and shrubs, of which there are many fine examples on the property. In addition he planted a varied collection of exotic trees.
