HEAfiTH STAMP SALES *

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Postmaster - General, Mr. Webb, stated to-day that the sales of health stamps during the fourth month of this, year's health stamp campaign, show an appreciable increase over those for the same period last year. January sales for the Dominion amounted to £930, as against £758 for January, 1942. For the four months the stamps have been on sale the total increase over last year is £2139. Of the larger centres, Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington have done particularly well, while in the smaller districts Timaru, New Plymouth, and Palmerston North show good sales.
