GOLDEN WEDDING
Mr. and Mrs. James Wood, of 7, Aratonga Avenue, Green Lane, celebrated their golden wedding during the week-end. They were married at St. Luke's Church, Remuera, on February 7, 1893, by the Rev. G. B. Munro. Both Mr. and Mrs. Wood were born in Auckland and in the early days farmed in the One Tree Hill district. Keenly interested in local body affairs, Mr.- Wood was a member of the Mount Wellington Road Board from 1908 until i 930. He was also a member of the first Auckland Transport Board and chairman of the Auckland Milk Company for 16 years. There are four sons and one daughter. i
