OBITUARY
MRS. V. B. ROSS The death has occurred of Mrs. Violet Blake Ross, of Kumeu, at the age of 74. Born in England she came to New Zealand as a young girl and later married the late Mr. Alfred Hugh Ross, a son of the late Major Ross, a veteran of the Mabri Wars. They were engaged in farming at Turakina, Kapiti Island, Rangitikei and Waitonio. After the death of her husband Mrs. Ross went to Kumeu. She isrsurvived by one son and four daughters.
