ICE CREAM PRICES
m ■ — ■ TRIBUNAL ANNOUNCEMENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. Retailers have no authority to increase the price or reduce containers for ice cream, the Price Tribunal announced to-day. • A retailer who charged more than a penny, threepence or sixpence for retail measure consequently committed a breach of the regulations. Products known to the trade as ice cream novelties had been dealt with separately, and a price increase of a half-penny on threepenny and sixpenny lines, and a penny on shilling lines had been authorised. Penny, novelty, lines, including ice block, remained unchanged.
