RESTITUTION PETITION

After he had gone into the army his wife took a position, and when he objected on the ground that there was no, need for her to work she left the home, said Hilton James Barrett (Mr. MacKay) in a petition before Mr. Justice Callan in the Supreme Court to-day for a decree ordering her to return to him. He said he knew of no valid reason for her action, or any other reason than he had stated, though he had objected to some friends his wife had made after he had joined the army. Remarking that the respondent had had an opportunity to enter a defence, his Honor made an order that she should return to her home within 14 days.
