HOW LONG?
Everyone is interested in the Christchurch by-election revelations. No wonder the price of bananas is 6d and 7d a pound instead of 2d and 3d, and all island fruit double what it was before State interference. Further, a week or so ago I bought potatoes at 3/ a bag, then a little later I wanted more from the same auction mart and was told the price was 9/ and the reason was that the "Government had taken them into store." What a colossal loss to the public' How long must the public be denied an election vote by the politicians who raised such fierce denunciation with a former Government which dared to extend its term of office. C'EST VRAI.
