With reference to your local regarding elderly people having to stand, it would be more sporting on the part of some of the elderly ladies and mothers with children if they finished their shopping and came home a little earlier. There would then be no need for the push and scramble for seats, and the workers would get home with a little comfort. STANLEY POINT.
